On 11 July 2025, the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) officially revoked the operating license of Al Khazna Insurance Company.
This decision follows the Emirati insurer’s failure to comply with the requirements set by the central bank during the period of suspension of its license.
Under Article 33 of the law governing insurance activities, the CBUAE has the power to revoke licenses if regulatory obligations are not met during suspension periods or while corrective measures are in place.
