International insurance intermediation group Howden has been granted approval by the Insurance Authority (IA) to carry out reinsurance brokerage activities in Saudi Arabia.
Motaz Bukhari is appointed Chief Executive Officer of Howden Re KSA. Prior to his recent appointment, Mr. Bukhari held several senior positions with Marsh Guy Carpenter in Saudi Arabia, most recently as Deputy CEO.
The new structure will provide reinsurance brokerage services and strategic advice to companies operating in the Saudi market.
