The Omani Financial Services Authority (FSA) is gearing up for the launch of the second phase of the Dhamani health insurance program.
This stage focuses on establishing a digital platform to facilitate the exchange of medical documents, both between private healthcare providers and insurance companies, and among hospitals, medical complexes, clinics, and specialized health centers.
The first phase, completed in September 2024, was intended to develop the platform and connect it to government entities involved in health insurance schemes, insurance companies and healthcare providers to enable online transaction processing.
The implementation of the second phase is expected to span eight months.
